Well due to unrivalled popular demand, here are a few piccy's of my work.
On the samples table there you may spot formula 1 car exhaust manifolds, the odd car panel, a subframe from the lotus elise, a motorbike?!, in the cabinent mobile phones (dont know what we have to do with them? maybe plastic welding)
Some really cool processes here are friction stir welding (wikipedia is your friend) and electron beam welding.
Unfortunately I have only had a bit to do with the ultrasonics division, but I would love to nose around this place.
Did I tell you we had our own railway?? Weird, (I think I did).
Off riding tomorrow after work Woohoo! Loving it.
